Ewww ming !!
Just made a cuppa when I got it upstairs to check things it had white floaty things in it, so just made another one with different milk !!!
Lovely when you've just woken up !!
try to decalcify the water boiler, that's mostly the problem with white floaty things.
You need to take the dead sheep out of the mug before adding the tea bag ...

hi everyone long time no see believe or not i've just come out of hospital today apparantly i've got guild stones they're ment to be dangerous has anyone on here ever had them before? really not looking forward to going back to the hospital to find out weather i got to have an op :(

I didn't mean to correct you, I just wanted to make sure it's the same thing. My entire family had this shite and yes, you can get rid of them naturally which is pretty painful and I don't remember how but I remember it was bad...and the bad news is that they come back no matter what you do. They do here laser thingie to crush them so you really don't have surgery so to speak...however, like I said...in every case I know they came back. So people just remove gall bladder and are done with that...it's more dangerous to live with these stones than living without gall bladder...
Disclaimer: although I do have some medical education, I am not a doctor...lol

lol thanks zina that has helped me alot see my mum told me that she had them when she was younger and she nearly died with them which has made me worried a bit lol

Yeah, I had one relative who nearly died also...but they caught it in time with you so it should be ok...

Sounds like a lot of ungreat news around here atm so hope those with injuries, hospital visits and other general unhappinesses are ok and right as rain soon. Jo (and Barb!) try not to worry as it generally makes no difference to things, and I hope it all goes fine

aaah cycle ride today. no particular reason, just a very good friend and I fancied it...bit tired but with that oh so pleased with myself sort of feeling going on. I will admit the last time I cycled was 9 months ago, and before that, 13 years...but I think this may catch on...hoping to go again next week (only then I won't have to stop at a sports shop on the way to invest in a cycle helmet!!)...had a great time!

Head office is learning that when they use the word mandatory in emails sent to me it will just result in me producing cast iron reasons for non compliance.

Hi guys. We've all been putting in long hours recently but we've really come together as a group and I love that! However, while we are fighting a jihad, we can't forget to take care of the cave, and frankly I have a few concerns:
First of all, while it's good to be concerned about cruise missiles, we should be even more concerned about the dust in our cave. We want to avoid excessive dust inhalation, (a health and safety issue) - so we need to sweep the cave daily. I've done my bit on the cleaning rota ...have you?
I've posted a sign-up sheet near the cave reception area (next to the halal toaster).
Second, it's not often I make a video address but when I do, I'm trying to scare the s**t out of most of the world's population, okay? That means that while we're taping, please do not ride your scooter in the background or keep doing the 'Wassup' thing. Thanks.
Third: Food. I bought a box of Dairylea recently, clearly wrote "Ossy" on the front, and put it on the top shelf. Today, two of my Dairylea slices were gone. Consideration. That's all I'm saying.
Fourth: I'm not against team spirit and all that, but we must distance ourselves from the Infidel's bat and ball games. Please do not chant "Ossy, Ossy, Ossy, Oy, Oy, Oy" when I ride past on the donkey. Thanks.
Five: Graffiti. Whoever wrote "OSAMA F***S DONKEYS" on the group toilet wall. It's a lie, the donkey backed into me, whilst I was relieving myself at the edge of the mountain.
Six: The use of chickens is strictly for food. Assam, the old excuse that the 'chicken backed into me, whilst I was relieving myself at the edge of the mountain' will not be accepted in future. (With donkeys, there is a grey area.)
Finally, we've heard that there may be Western soldiers in disguise trying to infiltrate our ranks. I want to set up patrols to look for them.
First Patrol will be Omar, Muhammad, Abdul, Akbar and Dave.

Since FaceBook got "updated" it has got just a little annoying. I don't want to see who's messaged who :shock: and I don't want to know what groups my friends have joined or what scores they have achieved on some revamped console game :yawn:. I just want to know how they are and keep in touch.

Yes its still cold Wednesday is looking good at 18/65 degrees and not cloudy!! Otherwise it starts warming up about October lol!!
Its 9 hours ahead here from UK time so i have no idea the time difference Zina that we have but Serge has his only little time zone going on here lol!! At 4am this morning he was bouncing off the walls asking where the biscuits were!! I just woke up at 2pm and he's still snoring away lol!!

I wonder if thre is ever a point where I stop finding more problems and start being able to put my house back together? Woodworm at the bottom of the stairs today :-(
So took all the infested bits of wood to the tip and now have a nice big drop at the bottom of the stairs...to eventually be rebuilt...possibly once I've put another damp proof course in there.

Why is my facebook account unavailable ?!?
Last night I apparently had no activity and some of my boxes had gone :shock: !!!
I've only got the one car, with one windscreen (ok so it has two roofs) so why did the DVLA send me two tax discs? Can I send one of them back for a refund and effectively get a years free car tax?
I honestly don't know what to do...but nothing feels right...
That was absolutely not worth it.
