I feel all achey. I got punched today at work and now i have a concussion :cry:
Im thinking of quitting the job. I love it but i cant take the constant verbal abuse. Today I just stated the facts (we never had her eye ointment in stock) and she sarted hitting me. Sorry to dump this here but if i dont get rid of it im gonna be feeling this way for ages. I have a black eye, a fat lip and i thik i have a broken finger. Should I go in tomorrow or should I take the rest of the week off like the lovely pharmacist offered, even though we are short staffed?

Can I have a hug please? even a little one might restore my faith in human nature :cry: :( :boohoo:

Aaaw, Biter, no one should face that kind of abuse at work - perhaps you are more vulnerable because you are short staffed? I can understand how torn you feel - if you don't go to work, then it could leave your colleagues even more exposed to the risk of violence. However, that's not your problem, it's the responsibility of your employer to ensure you are able to work in a safe environment (that is in fact a legal obligation). If you're injured, then you are not fit for work.

My thoughts are with you.

Thanks....now Ive had a bit of sleep, I feel a bit better. Finger is broken, which is a bummer. Still going into work because fridays are very busy and One of the pharmacists is going to start my Dispensary traning (which means I can help with prescriptions - yay!) The horrid woman has been given a formal warning by the police and has been banned from the store. Uhg....still got a headache, but the mad rocker girlie (Vix....you might see her on here soon 8O ) is in today so I can get rid of all my frustration with a paracetamol fight. Yes I know I'm juvenile.

happy to be here, had very nasty chest infection and flu bug, ended up in a private clinic on Sunday, I had severe chest pains which now have abaited, evidently this thingy lasts about a month, charming!!! I'd better be super fit after all the medication I've had pumped into me...
