Default Mobile Phone Advice???

Okay, I wanted some adivce on Mobile Phones.

I'm wanting to change my mobile that I have now (Nokia 3120) becuase I've had it years plus its now playing up with me so I think its time to move on.

As you can see, I'm not into the whole phone thing, so I'm not sure what's hot and what's not - if you see where I'm coming from.....

So I'm really wanting to know which phones are good and which one I could get? What have you got?

I dont really wanna spend more than £15o - 170 and possibly have a good enough camera....

Any ideas and thoughts?

You need to think do you want. Do you need multimedia messages, GPS, Blue tooth, mp3 or other accessories? I think that almost every phone have camera nowadays.

I'm from Finland that's why I have only Nokia's phones. If you want Nokia's phone go to their web site and clik what you need. They find you phone.

Everything's good if you like it. Work out what you want to do, what you use the phone most for and then decide, there's lots of phone selector help and phone reviews on the various mobile carriers networks.

Nokia N85 is good, but probably out of your price range.

Funny, how I am struggling with this myself...can't figure out what I need and/or want...first it was LG...then Samsung, and actually I prefer either Nokia or Motorola but I don't see models that I like...

Would have gotten an Iphone but I resent to pay extra a month for service...might wind up with that anyway...

I have an LG Viewty and I really like it, it withstands being dropped and doesn't freeze or anything. the camera is really good - the only downside is that there isn't much memory but I got a 2gb memory card on the internet for under a fiver. I've had it since november and nothing has gone wrong yet (touch wood)

That's the one I was recommended and almost settled on it and then we read it's rating on Amazon and some comments weren't good...it has only 4 stars or something...

Just read a few of the amazon reviews and I agree that the battery has the full amount of bars for ages and then they suddenly decreases and then your phone is dead before you know it, but then again I only charge my phone every 5 days or so.
They also complained about the stylus thingynot being attatched to the phone which is annoying, but I don't use it any way - I use my nail instead it works just as well

Same here....

Anyone in the UK able to recommend a decent service provider? I'm currently paying £30 per month with Orange for 500 texts and 200 minutes... I'm sure there's better offers out there, but they all appear to be hiding from me... I should say I'm very reluctant to go with O2 since they convinced me to sign up for a business phone at a very good deal and then credit checked me (SPOTLESS credit record) and refused the contract!!

Both my phones with Orange, hate them but had no choice, would prefer O2 myself.

Isn't there a comparison website for contracted mobiles, sure there is. (edit) try this one...http://www.rightmobilephone.co.uk/?g...FQG7GgodnhCOuA

On another note, memo to self, don't lend Claire money, obviously dodgy.

Well I've gone for the LG Viewty on O2.... People says its brill, others say it ain't - but at the end of the day, I guess its down to your own opinon.... I guess I'll be able to say if i like it or it sucks in due course
