Mobile Phone Advice???
Okay, I wanted some adivce on Mobile Phones.
I'm wanting to change my mobile that I have now (Nokia 3120) becuase I've had it years plus its now playing up with me so I think its time to move on. As you can see, I'm not into the whole phone thing, so I'm not sure what's hot and what's not - if you see where I'm coming from..... So I'm really wanting to know which phones are good and which one I could get? What have you got? I dont really wanna spend more than £15o - 170 and possibly have a good enough camera.... Any ideas and thoughts? Ross |
get a good one, don't get a nokia, or samsung, or lg ;)
|
what do you mean by a good one? any model suggestions? ;-)
|
You need to think do you want. Do you need multimedia messages, GPS, Blue tooth, mp3 or other accessories? I think that almost every phone have camera nowadays.
I'm from Finland that's why I have only Nokia's phones. If you want Nokia's phone go to their web site and clik what you need. They find you phone. http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones |
Its just that some people say LG Cookie's is it? are good, some say Ericson's are good. Some say Samsung are great but crap battery life; The Soul, of G600?
hmmmmm |
Everything's good if you like it. Work out what you want to do, what you use the phone most for and then decide, there's lots of phone selector help and phone reviews on the various mobile carriers networks.

£150? Go to Sainsbury's, Fuji Finepix FD50 camera £99 and any mobile for under £50...sorted.
|
Nokia N85 is good, but probably out of your price range.
|
Funny, how I am struggling with this myself...can't figure out what I need and/or want...first it was LG...then Samsung, and actually I prefer either Nokia or Motorola but I don't see models that I like...
Would have gotten an Iphone but I resent to pay extra a month for service...might wind up with that anyway... |

They also complained about the stylus thingynot being attatched to the phone which is annoying, but I don't use it any way - I use my nail instead it works just as well |

Anyone in the UK able to recommend a decent service provider? I'm currently paying £30 per month with Orange for 500 texts and 200 minutes... I'm sure there's better offers out there, but they all appear to be hiding from me... I should say I'm very reluctant to go with O2 since they convinced me to sign up for a business phone at a very good deal and then credit checked me (SPOTLESS credit record) and refused the contract!! |

Isn't there a comparison website for contracted mobiles, sure there is. (edit) try this one...http://www.rightmobilephone.co.uk/?g...FQG7GgodnhCOuA On another note, memo to self, don't lend Claire money, obviously dodgy. |
Thanks for that M, makes interesting reading....
P.S. Mental note: When I win the lottery, don't give any money to M..... |
Well I've gone for the LG Viewty on O2.... People says its brill, others say it ain't - but at the end of the day, I guess its down to your own opinon.... I guess I'll be able to say if i like it or it sucks in due course
