Here's a few more for you Chris.
(taken from a groovy book called Latin For All Occasions by Henry Beard)

Podex perfectus es = You are a total asshole.

De stella Martis vere venisti = You are deffinatly from Mars.

Stercorum pro cerebro habes = You have shit for brains.

Caput tuumin ano est = You have your head up your ass.

And one more for Patricia as it's her fav insult

Futue te ipsum et caballum tuum = Screw you and the horse you rode in on.
I am so glad I am not the only person who bought that book!!!!

I have no idea why, but i feel i cna sleep better knowing that I know when to say "Mescha Mobilis" (sp?) to someone!!
This book sound rather amazingly funny! Does any soul know where i can buy it from??

Latin For All Occasions by Henry Beard. It was produced for a chain store that sells reproduction antiques (that's the only way I can describe it) called Past Times. There are a couple of different volumes. The one I have (Vol 1) is a dark green colour.

It's not the most useful book in the world, but I find it quite funny learning how to order a bag of gummy bears, curse your computer, cheer on your fav sports team, or rob a bank in Latin .

For instance, An all purpose stick up note...

Catapultum habeo.Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam.

"I have a catapult.Give me all the money, or I will fling an enormous rock at your head."

Patricia
I guess it got screwed
But seriously, I have no idea .The book I get this stuff from is basically a lot of expressions with the translations. My Latin is basically non existant (My greatest acheivment, being late to meet some friends and saying in Latin I was abducted by aliens, what year is it?), but the book itself was written by a guy who spent 8 years studying Latin, and then the text was checked by two classical scholars, so I don't doubt the actual wording. It could include a one word phrase for "your horse" or be a slang word for horse

Sorry my mistake!!!

Caballum means horse as in a pack horse or an old nag.

I was looking for Equus which means horse int he sense of a war-horse such as a cavalry man would ride!!

Oh well - Nunc est bibendum

Latin's a dead language.
As dead as dead can be.
It killed off all the Romans.
And now it's killing me.
