I don't believe in God anyway. I was raised a Roman Catholic, but I never go to Mass on a Sunday. I never pray or do anything religious. Religion in my opinion is flawed, and the Holy Bible is a big book of lies. Once you die that's it!! Lights out and you're gone forever. Heaven and hell; God the Devil it's rubbish talk. There is a scientific explanation as to how we were created, and it hasn't anything to do with God. The vast majority of people see God as a man but can God not be a woman?? Religion tell us "God made us all in his own image". He must be a cross between a male and a female then. The Catholic church doesn't agree with gay marriages, yet when you think about it God could be gay himself. God could be a black man either!!! yet he's always portrayed as white!!!

There is a lot of unanswered questions about religion. Just look through the centuries and all the wars and troubles because of it; even to this very day. I always seen religion as an excuse to cause trouble to be honest.

Omgosh ! It's funny I should discover this thread today. I was thinking just this morning, how I want to be remembered ! I'm being cremated so I doubt there will be anything but a little plaque somewhere (I'd LOVE it to be posted at Forest Lawn !) I was thinking of starting a list of things by which to remember me, ie, "Remember me when you see a butterfly", things like that print out and have distributed at my memorial.

you know what I mean...if the debate over God, or god, and does he/she/it exists then feel free to take it to another thread, this thread was designed as a bit of fun.

Even better, take it to another forum.

The whole god vs existance is a bit heavy for this neck of the woods methinks, and I sure as hell don't want to moderate that thread

I wonder what my epitaph will be when I do die? It'll probaly be something basic..but I want it to be something funny.

"Sex God on earth, Sex God in Heaven".

my post was actually in accordance to yours. I meant it as "Get off the subject of GOD"

But yet you discuss what your epitaph will be, isn't it all connected with God and religion?

An epitaph. That's words about a person put on a gravestone or plaque or something, right ? That doesn't necessarily have to be connected to a higher power or religion. Imo, it's a rememberance thing.

Ooops, but we were told not to discuss God or religion. There is a subtle code about what subjects shouldn't be discussed at parties and religion is one of them.

It isn't connected if you don't believe in a religion surely?

My comment has nothing to do with my beliefs, it's the thread I'm discussing. The moderators were saying it was off topic, but gravestones, epitaphs, are associated with religion, unless anyone can think of another purpose. I just don't see how discussing God and faith can be off topic in the off topic forum. It's more on topic if anything.

This thread is a bit of fun I suppose, so maybe I shouldn't be voicing my religious opinions to much.
