Not exactly RJ! There have been rumours all over the net that 20th Century Fox are interested in doing a remake of Rocky Horror. Marilyn Manson said in an interview that he has been approached by Fox to play the part of Frank N Furter. It's obviously early days and there's no confirmation that Marilyn Manson has accepted the role or that the movie will even get made.

I love RHPS, but a remake? I dont know...
Dont think that Manson would be a good choice, is not comical enough, and too threatening to play Frank N Fürter...
I´m kinda curious who´d play Eddie...

I´d surely would watch it, but I truly cant see how this 70s songs could work in a remake. The only way would be, and I´m afraid it will come so, to cover these songs in the typical MM sound. *shivver*

I'd rather not ... the whole idea of a remake of Rocky Horror makes me shudder, some things just shouldn't be touched!

I agree. That was the original and should stay as the only one. Can't picture anyone doing those roles except for the original cast. I know we are prejudice for Meat as Eddie, but this applies to the other roles as well.

I think it´d be a cool idea, if Meat would play the part of Dr Scott, this time.

Nooooooo, no remake. What is it nowadays with film studios. They pay people thousands of dollars to come up with ideas for films, and guess what, the idea they come up with is to remake a cult classic. Please can I have a job Fox, I can come up with lots of ideas. Remake Alien, remake Independance Day, remake, remake remake. leave RH alone, and come up with some good new original ideas. And Marilyn Manson, of all people, he is more freaky than Frank'n'Furter to start with.

It is easier to produce remakes and sequels, people already know the original and will more likely go and see the new one.

Well they ruined 13 Ghosts, House on Haughted Hill, The Hitcher, Lost in Space, Stepford Wifes, ETC...... Plus were stealing movies like the grugde from japan an makeing it american. Didn't they learn with Godizillia you don't touch stuff like that.

The only thing easier about it, is that they don't have to come up with a storyline. They cost more to make these days, and for someone to go see something they have seen previously in a different version, they are expecting an improvement on the original, and that is not happening with alot of remakes. There is no need to remake RHPS, it is a cult classic, and should be left alone, there is nothing to improve on, no one will ever match the performance of Tim Curry, he made Frank'n'Furter his own. All the cast in RHPS, were excellent, and I totallt disagree on a remake. It is just another ploy, to extract money from the public.

Tim Curry will and always will be my top Frank'N'Furter and
Meat Loaf will and always be my all time favourite Eddie!

If a remake is to be made then do not expect me to support it!
