Default Storytellers

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the VH1 Storytellers tv show? I can't seem to track it down either on VHS or DVD here in the UK.

If anyone has a copy they are considering selling, I would be very interested.

Many thanks

Is it out of print? If not you can always try amazon.co.uk. If it is, you can usually find one on ebay most of the time, and most ebay sellers have no problem shipping to the UK. In fact, just in the last week I've shipped from the US to Canada, the UK and Singapore.
The Storytellers DVD is great- I watch it several times a month.

Disregard my message about ebay, it IS in print and you can buy it new from Amazon (US). The link for it is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...573197-1983833

It is outstanding, and they can mail it to the UK. I just ordered the CHSIB CD off of Amazon UK, it should work just fine for you do order from the US.

If you are fortunate enough to be seeing Meat in concert, you may also be able to pick up a copy at the concert. That's where I got my copy, at a Florida concert in December. In fact, they are sold complete with autograph, for about $5.00 more than on Amazon.

AFAIK, the Storytellers DVD is region 1 only.
You might not be able to watch it using a DVD player manufactured for Europe.

Know all about region 1, yes. Had to buy another dvd-player! My son was very happy when he got the 'old' one.
Now we are both happy

Default Just got!

I have only just received my copy of the DVD and the CD of Storytellers direct from the US (they are unavaliable in NZ). I can highly reccommend them both (af few different tracks on each).

Meat and the band sound awersome.

Now I am thinking about e-bay and trying to decide if I should bid for some of the videos out ...... Apart from BOOH video Hits, are there any other videos/dvds (of music) avaiable new? Have check AMAZON and they don't have any other than these 2?

Other videos that I know of:

Bat Out Of Hell 2 Picture Show (with live performances and promo videos)
Bad Attitude Live
Meat Loaf Live

You might have to go to EBay for these.

You can ask HMV to import it using HMV DIRECT

all you need is the CAT NO. BEYB578089DVD

You ring up on 08705 334578

Think you pay over the phone and they deliver to your door.

Thats what im gonna do. cos from the snippets i saw on CHSIB (bonus disc) then i want it!!

Testify,

You MUST order it- if you don't have Storytellers you are missing (IMHO) the best taped ML performance available. I watch it a couple times a week, I even work out to it. It is outstanding, to say the least.

Asha,

You are gonna love it! Even though I have seen it many, many times I still find something new each time. It really makes me wish that I hadn't missed the Storytellers tour when it came through my town- what was I thinking??? (Actually I was thinking that I had a 3 year old son at the time, a full time job and full time university load- there was no $$!) Ack, I should have pawned something- I would do anything to have just one more ML concert in my memory!

This Storytellers vid sounds like a must have. When was it recorded, I guess its quite recent. Love the BOOH on the CHSIB cd - compared it to the ML Live from Wembley '87 version and from the sound of his voice it doesn't sound as old as that.

There's a Storytellers DVD and CD...
I ordered mine from Amazon, it wasn't in any of the shops here where I live (Groningen, Holland) and nobody could order it for me. So I ordered it from the USA...

Takes a while to get here though....

Coupe-de-ville,

The copyright date on the back of my DVD says 1999, but I bet there are a number of folks here who could give you the exact date right off the top of their head- as a matter of a fact I think a person or two here was at the taping. (Lucky sods!)
