Don't know if anyone can help, but I'm trying to find a copy of the TV movie "To Hell And Back". According to Amazon.com, it has been officially released, but I can't find it anywhere!?
I'd prefer the original, but a copy would do. I saw the movie a few years a go... I don't know how accurate it is (or whether it was actually made with either Meat or Jim's involvement), but I enjoyed it. Cheers! |

I bought mine off the Amazon. They do have it
The movie is unathorized biography and there is a lot of liberties taken with history - even I can see that. According to Meat, he has never even seen it...doubt it cause his daughter is in it... |

Thanks for the PM meatloaf-unofficial!
Amazon haven't stocked the official video for quite a while now. I've also been searching eBay for the past few months, but have never found one. |

I got mine from a friend from the UK, itīs a rental version, havent seen a different version.
I like the movie, although I thought it looked a bit weird when that guy played a 19 year old boy |

I got my copy as an ex-rental from a local video library for $5. I kept (and keep) haunting the local libraries for any Meaty ex-rentals. That's produced some tremendous results for me, and I don't even have to wade through the shelves of sale items anymore. Each library knows me now and the owners either nod or shake their heads when I appear at the door.
Unless they're trying to tell me something .......

I loved everything about the movie, except for the fact that the woman playing Meat's mother smokes, and Meat says that his real mom never smoked, that's why he refuses to watch the film. However, I think Meat should just skip over that early part of the movie and watch the rest, because the actors and story really do justice to Meat's life and career. I enjoyed the actors who played Meat, Jim, and Meat's wife. Sure many facts were "Hollywoodized" in order to speed along the story, but I think they did a very good job with the material they had to work with. Meat should be proud of the movie! I know I was.

Think I actually read somewhere that Jack Black was casted for Meatīs role, but then it was cancelled, īcause he had another movie to do.
Wasnt there actually once the idea of a BOOH movie? |
