These songs at the moment but it was hard to pick just 3!

1, The Fairytale of New York by The Pogues
2, Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie
3, The Christmas Song by The Raveonettes

Fairytale of New York - Pogues and Kirsty MacColl
Wizards in Winter - Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day - dont agree with that, just like the song!

three fave carols:
We 3 Kings
It was on a starry night
Once in Royal David's City.

Hope we sing some cheery Christmas carols this year at mass (if i'm well enough to go by then, of course), last year the choir had all the fun, we got to sing all the dreary carols and yes, there are such things as dreary Christmas carols. Last year the Asian community in the parish did this really upbeat, cheery Christmas song from their part of the world, then straight after we sang In the Bleak Midwinter!

Typical. Gotta face it, we are miserable beggars. I remember as a youngster going to church and everyone was stood there singing, stood stock still, with the most miserable faces ever. Then 18 years ago I was GodMother to a baby being Christened in a Methodist Church. The AfroCarribbean folk were singing happy songs with smiles on their faces (the folk not the songs).

Fave Christmas songs.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - The Temptations
Silent Night - Some German Soldiers in a b&w war film I saw as a youngster
Little Donkey - The Children of Year One in my sons school nativity play 13 years ago. (Made me cry)

I like the new Spiraling Christmas song that's available on their Myspace.

Great take on "Do you hear what I hear"

I love these songs and I know it is not my top 3 but I love a comedy christmas.......and few of the classics.
Plus I think it would be cool if ML did a x-mas album. Think it would be different and I like the chesnuts roasing clip on ROL. What you all think?

Jeff Foxworthy Redneck 12 days of christmas
Bill Engall Here's your sign christmas
Adam Sadler Hanakuh Song
Joe Diffie Leroy the redneck reindeer
Willie Nelson Grandma got ran over by a reindeer
Ray Steven's Santa Claus is watching you
South Park Oh Holy Night Cartman
Family Guy I need a Jew
Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
Frosty the Snowman
Rudolph The red nose reindeer
Santa Claus is coming to town

But trust me these 3 are not bad but different.......
Happy Hoildays - Billy Idol
Jingle Bell Rock - Billy Idol
Winter Wonderland - Billy Idol
They are on youtube and myspace videos.

Seems Fairytale of NY is very popular! Apparently it's the most requested Christmas song on my local radio station!

It's currently number 10 (or 9) in the UK singles chart yet again.
