Default How Can I Say Enough???

I have heard most of the new album...not just the stupid loops....and I am litterally at a loss of how to praise this album enough!
This is the single most powerful collective piece that Meat Loaf has ever done..EVER!!!
How can I describe this correctly.... The magic that has been there with the Meat/Jim albums is there and in FULL FORCE without Jim. This is the album that will prove Meat as a class-act artist without Jim Steinman. I swear, it is one of the most powerful things I have heard Meat Loaf
ever do. Yes, the songs are on the same quality level with the songs on
Bat Out Of Hell, but let me warn you, they are of a very different musical style. They are all great. This is NOT the typical non-Jim Meat
Loaf album. YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY!!! This is much better than WelcomeTo The Neighborhood could ever hope to be.
Keep your head up Meat Loaf...there are fans that are totally in SOCK & AWE over this new CD!
Rock on Fire Ball!!!

When you are first infected with the glory of Testify, you will become a believer! This is music of the soul people. This is what rock and roll is all about. I PROMISE you will be up on your feet and dancing with many of these songs, and on the other hand, you will be brought to the point of tears with others. Mind you, I have only heard demo versions of the songs, but there is not one single throw-away or "album" track on here.

Exchange DIST with "the album" or "the record".
That would be more precise.

Default I'm still a little speechless

Where shall I begin.... I was blessed to hear most of the songs from the new CD and it's taken me a couple of weeks just to find the words to express my feelings. Meat really scored big with this, it's like he opened his soul to us and let the songs tell it all.

TESTIFY, he did!

MAGIC, in every song!

SHOCK and AWE, trendy term, but true!

I still remember being totally mezmerized by BOOH, (even tho it was 25 years ago) and on first listen this record had the same affect on me. And I've only heard demo songs.

Can't wait for the tour, WOW!!!!

Hi Jules,
Thank you so much for your review of the album!
Didn't realise you 'had been around for this long' compared to you I am the new kid on the block.

But it's very good to hear these words from someone who has been a 'believer' for many many years.

Once again, thank you so much, and folks, please read this whole topic after you have heard the album again. This is NOT about we have heard it and you haven't. We want you to hear it and share our happiness! But you do understand that 'sharing' this would be stealing from Meat, so we couldn't. Glad that is over soon.

I Testify, (and LOVE CHSIB incase you were wondering)

Thanks, Mariella!

Yep, I've been a fan for many years. Course I do contribute to a site that a youngster (27) has, so it could seem that I was younger. Well, you are only as old as you want to be.....

...couldn't agree more, Jules. Forever Young!

There have been a lot of reviews from so called 'profesional journalists'.
Well I truly feel that they are serving a purpose in all of this. That is letting history repeat itself. Thank you, Flying Mouse! So everytime I read a 'negative' review, I say THANK YOU!
That doesn't necessarely mean CHSIB has to top the recordsales Bat did. There is quality and quantity, these are different things! And I love both Bats beyond belief..
Once again, I think Bart is absolutely right by saying it doesn't matter what these people say about it. If you run into something negative, try to make something positive out of it!
The only thing I am interested in is how Meats fans receive this album.

Thank you for these reviews!

I Testify!

I wrote this in another topic:
-------
I heard it and thought: who needs Steinman, he he.
I agree with you. Such a great album!! I've been listening the whole afternoon.
I expected it to be great, but not THIS great. But it IS. Really it is.
I was moved by Forever Young. That song has special meaning to me, never could have dreamt that of all people MEATdecided to sing it.

I'm impressed. Very impressed.
Guppie - very happy
-------

I agree with you David. And I WAS blown away.
