I liked it on CHSIB.

He seems to have got emotion into it. He always sounds like he believes what he is singing, but CHSIB was something else, in those terms. CHSIB, Testify, DIST, and Mercury Blues are the pick of the lot. He sounds like he's crying in DIST, and the others just rock, without Meat having to near kill himself to achieve it.

I think that every "voice" is right for the song. I like his voice today, too, because it got so much power and feeling in it. But i canīt imagine that BOOH whould be better with a different voice. I personally think the the "worst" voice, if you couldīt even say that, because everything is good, it around the time of Midnight at the lost and found, but maybe i feel so, because these songs arenīt my favorites.

The bad attitude vocals are awesome.
And live from 1985 till 1989 Meat was the best of the best. He deserves to be a legend because of his vocals in these years.

I think his most modern vocals have much more emotion in them, which suit the songs very well. However, his voice during the BAT period cannot be beaten by any artist in my opinion. Just awesome.

Because I became a Meat Loaf fan when Bat II was released I'm inclined to say anything from Bat II onwards, but equally I've just aquired a CD with some recordings from 1978 and I love it!!

I think if I had to choose it'd be his voice now, for CHSIB and the MSO, as it's deeper, which I love!!! The version of FCOL on the MSO album is just amazing

Every song on the CHSIB CD (especially DIST), Amnesty Is Granted from Welcome To The Neighborhood, and Out Of the Frying Pan and FCOL from the MSO DVD. I also really enjoyed Black Betty from the recent tour .. and wish he would release a live version of it as the "b" side on a single from Bat III

Sorry .. I hope that's specific enough

I like this version of Let it be, that he did.
With Meatīs voice the song is much better and has much more feeling than it is with the Beatles.

I like Meats performace, but I hate the backing vocals! I still have to say the Beatles are the best at this one!
