Nice joke - there are 2 tracks on "Streets of Fire" written & produced by Jim Steinman and performed by FIRE INC. > "Nowhere fast" and "Tonoght is what it means to be young" .

Meat never involved in these tracks !

OK, I'm probably gonna get muddled up here ( it doesn't take much! ) so don't quote me for goodness sakes! Right, Street Of Fire was a soundtrack that Meat sang a couple of songs on, either that or an album with another artist ... somthing along those lines! Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young is a song by Jimmy that was performed by FIRE INC which as far as I know is something completely different ( but it's a great song and worth getting hold of if you haven't already ) But like I said - I'm not entirely sure

Be sure ... only 2 Fire Inc. Songs, written by Jim, are on the Soundtrack "Streets of Fire" (LP Nr.250825-1 MCA/CD Nr. MCD 03221 MCA) !

No sorry you're not right...Meat NEVER sang on Streets of Fire. He had nothing to do with that. However, Meat's version of Nowhere Fast (which is slightly different) is on Bad Attitude.

If you are a fan of Steinman, you must check out the STREETS OF FIRE soundtrack. TONIGHT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG is close to his most perfect "dance" song he ahs ever written. This is a very good album (not so good movie)!

With all the love there ever was....
