Default Weird.............

My daughter just noticed this (mostly because she's grounded and is utterly bored), my two copies of Couldn't Have Said It Better are different.
The Canadian version:

No backwards jokes please, I've heard them all

The German Version:

It says Man Of Stee not Man Of Steel.

Has anyone else noticed anything like that on their cd's?

Very strange. I just checked my CD's and they're fine.
But I bought a Couldn't Have Said It Better vinyl LP from Germany .... and the labels are reversed (that is what should be Chapter 1 (side A) is labeled Chapter 2, and what should be Chapter 2 (side B) is labeled as Chapter 1). Did anyone else notice this with the vinyl album ?

Germany must hold the record for the number of different releases of CHSIB!

There is the single disc version with the misspelt Man Of Steel (Stee) as well as the one with the correct spelling.

There are also two different releases of the 2 disc set. One has 2 bonus tracks ... BOOH and Took The Words ... and the other one doesn't.

A Super Audio CD was also released.

My vinyl LP has the record labels reversed too.

Slightly off topic, but where can I get the LP from? You'd think I'd know running a music outlett :P

To be honest I'm afraid I don't know. I believe the LP is long deleted. Maybe they come up for sale occasionally on eBay.

CHSIB was only released on vinyl in Germany. A very dear German friend got me mine which was a huge and wonderful surprise as I had no idea there was or even would be a vinyl release.

Hope you're lucky finding one.

The labels on my vinyl are reversed too, my Super Audio CD is exactly the same as UK release.

Good luck !!

I got my copy from a ZShop on Amazon.com in Germany
I meant to get Meat to autograph the cover this past year when I met him during the HOTD tour, but completely forgot. Hopefully I'll get another chance when he tours again.

question: why do people still buy vinyl of new albums or singles?

For me as a 20 years old guy, grown up with CDs, there is no sense beside of songs or album which wouldn't been released on CD

In one phrase "Completeness of record collection" ... many of us started collecting our meat Loaf records before the time CD was even a twinkle in a boffins eye ...

For me it's a rare collectors item

The only time I've actually played the CHSIB vinyl was when I was testing my old record player ... and when Meat started sounding like Alvin & The Chipmunks I knew something was wrong

If I get the chance, I'd like to have Meat autograph the cover so I can have the album framed and hang it on the wall.

I have a couple of picture discs which are really cool too

Right you are Andy I have a big box of 45 records (not Meat records unfortunately) sitting in my closet ... now I'm really starting to show my age

I had to laugh at Meat during the HOTD tour .... every time he introduced "Only When I Feel" he made a point to say it was from his new upcoming "album" .... not "CD"

Surely a CD IS an album... unless it only has a coupla songs, in which case it's a single???

I've been buying Meat's Vinyl Picture disks - I don't have a record player
anymore but they do look good on the wall.

I have the R&R Dreams single picture disc, framed with a black mat, hanging on the wall. I still have a couple of others that I want to hang up once I get around to having them framed
