Default Possibly contraversial

I don't know whether this has been mentioned before, and i'm sorry if I offend the REAL Meat Loaf, but does anyone know with 100% certainty that fireball is actually Meat. I'm sorry if fireball is Meat but from what I have seen and read there isn't much evidence telling us he's the real thing. Thought?

I have the same question.

With all due respect, of course.

After reading what people have to say after Fire Ball posts, I'd laugh my ass off if it wasn't but I think it most definitely is.

My friend doesn't believe it's him, and thinks I'm being fooled with.

But: the only way I'd know is: I met Meat Loaf in Melbourne for an instore (Couldn't Have Said it Better) in 2003. It was the same night he went on Rove. I got him to sign my copy of Stoney and Meat Loaf.

I told him who I was: "rockfenris from MLUKFC" and I had to keep repeating myself because everyone else was talking too loud. He finally answered and said: "yep, I got your email" or something along the lines of that.

It proves that he's Fireball. Doesn't it?

Without going into detail, I think there's certain characteristics in Fire Ball's posts that could only come from Meat Loaf

Either that or someone's being payed by management to imitate him. But Meat would have to have a manager like Sonenberg LOL to pull that off :P

Without a doubt Fireball is 100% Meat Loaf, with nothing added and nothing taken away!

Is there a way someone can prove this. So, at least, my friend will believe I'm not being scammed?

At the time Meat was promoting CHSIB some fans were raising the same question about whether Fire Ball was really Meat. He played a promo concert in Amsterdam and very kindly arranged a meet & greet through these forums. The first thing he said when he came in the room was "Hi, I'm Fire Ball! Tell your friends it really is me".

At another m & g at Sheffield Arena in 2004 he went around the table to everyone asking them their user names on here and very obviously knew who people were.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind and there are plenty of others on these forums who can verify the above.

I think it's easier to prove Fire Ball is Meat Loaf than that you've got a friend Only messing with you Ryan. I think your mate just has to take your word for it

Yes, it is like Diane told. Yours truly whitnessed it too in Amsterdam.

Something similar to what Diane told about Leeds did happen too in Amsterdam. When almost everyone had left for a place at the front of the stage Meat approached a person still standing there. Meat asked if he was the one who he expected him to be. That made my day!!

On the MSO DVD, someone in the audience hold up a banner with the word "Fireball" and something else.

Was it someone of this forum?

And how has he registerd to this forum? Did the admins give him an account?

If Meat has done the first step, there is no real proof, besides the m&g's, that fireball is meat

As Diane and Ankie stated, Meat has proved through what he's said at Meet and Greets that he is indeed Fire Ball, I too was at Sheffield and his statements proved it 100%, there are other members on here who aren't part of the management team who can back this up too. Take our word for it, it's him!

I was in Amsterdam too and yep - it's him...specifly remember him asking if Dottie was there too, as they had not met at that time...lovely memories

I cannot remember if it was a radio-show or newspaper interview, but while he was doing promotion in Holland in 2003, he also mentioned being online and his nickname is Fire Ball.

Love,
Mariella

I posted a personal message to Meat the night we were 'debating' changing the title of bat3 three, it's private, but I have no doubt that it was meat!

Yeh, I totally agree, it seems really weird. However, i'm glad he does it because it is a blessing to actually get to speak to him. Plus, i'm really happy that he shows an interest in our views, i think thats really cool.

It's strange to imagine Carmen Electra on the toilet having a smelly pooh but I'm sure it still happens.

My personal opinion is that you can never be 100% sure of anything, but I've no reason to believe Fireball isn't Meat. Unless someone actually observes Meat posting as Fireball then it could be anyone, and even if someone does observe Meat posting, there's no guarantee that every post is him.

I'm willing to believe it is Meat, and I think his posts, and the detail in them, confirms this enough for me to be happy.
