So you don't like songs like Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody; Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday; Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas!

Any of the classics!!

Mistletoe and Wine - St Cliff (not Saviours Day tho - hate that song!!)
Wizzard, Slade, Wham - all those type of songs.

Plus the Dolyl Parton Xmas Country Album she did quite a few years ago, and Garth's Country Christmas Album.

Not forgetting of course Weird Al's classic "The Night Santa Went Crazy"

And we get to start playing them at work soon!!!!

Christmas Songs! Nothing like em to get you in the mood, proper cheesy Christmas songs They can drive you crazy but it just wouldn't be Christmas without Slade blaring out at you every time you go into a tinsel-strewn shop.

My faves: Wizard and (dare I say it ) Shakin Stevens.

BUT ultimate fave: Fairytale of New York

I have one but no one seems to remember it. It had played alot after I moved to the states. I believe it was called "Dear Mr. Jesus". A little girl sang it and it had parts where she would sing. "Dear Mr. Jesue I heard a story on tv about a little girl that had been beaten black and blue". I remember that song so well because so many people had called in everyday to hear it. Not sure what ever happened to it. I still remember the commercial that played after I moved here, I think it was coke, "I wish I could give the world a coke and keep it company". My all time favorite is the song by Bryan Adams. I will have to think of the name.

Just my opinion

Ohh i love them all!! Love Shakin' Stevens and all the classic ones like that, I love I Believe In Father Christmas, I performed that as part of a four part harmony thing back at school and really enjoyed it. Also since the other half has lived away I've grown to love Driving Home For Christmas!!

However, the one thing I look forward to at this time of year on the music channel is...the VIDEO to Jon Bon Jovi's Please Come Home For Christmas....aw man....!

Default which Christmas song would you like to hear Meat sing

If we could get him to do a Christmas Cd/Video.....what christmas songs would you like Meat to sing?

I'll start it off and say a lovely song of "The Drummer Boy" would be nice.

I've been wanting him to fo a holiday special or just a show every week that is his. John Davidson did his in the 70's. Glenn Campbell did his. I want Meat out there for everyone to see and enjoy what we all hear and see. A great man with a great voice should be out there and enjoyed by all.
