ok.....................

Got to the venue on time, only to find i'd left the tickets at home After a long drawn out story had to buy 4 more and have to send the others back for a refund. Got in there and it was packed. Bougth 2 HP t shirts. As they were the last few and thought it'd be cool to have them as they've changed names. Watched the support band The finally time for Roadstars 1st ever gig The 4 of us got right down the front and was right in front of the speakers. Hence the severe ringing in all of our ears (still is now) and Sam telling us we were shouting and banging when we got in. I couldn't hear anything!

Was great to see them onstage again and up so close. They were as great as ever but very loud. They actually sound much better in a big venue. They played their new song, which I think was called Out Of The Blue. It's very cool as well. I really liked it. The crowd really loved them.

Great to see Johnny playing again after the accident lol. Spoke to him after and he's fully mended

Thanx also to Chris for his drumsticks which he gave me & Lou after. he has some cool ones with his name on and they also have Hurricane Party on still which is cool.

For anyone that doesn't know Roadstar will be supporting Thunder on their tour. Talking of which Thunder were also in the venue watching them last night

Pix coming soon

Great Pics - thanks Des!!

Glad to hear that Johnny has made a good recovery.

How many times did Chris drop his drumsticks last night?

Thanks for the review and pics Deb. Brought back great memories of Meat's tour ... I really enjoyed HP's set and still listen to their CD a lot.

Do you know if they are likely to be playing any gigs in or near Guildford in the near future? My son has heard their CD and would love to go and see them.

Thanks Deb. I told him on the phone last night and he's keen to go and see them. Won't tell you what he said about the headliners though!
