Having been fortunate enough to 'see the real thing' whilst on holiday in Florida, it really is pretty spectacular. |

I actually work next to the NASA plant that builds the booster rockets so its on every available monitor in the place already. |

If you followed the link straight away SLM, you should have seen the launch! Mind you the picture 'froze' for about a minute then went black (I was watching the Yahoo version). Had me a bit worried for a moment, but everything seems to have gone according to plan (well, to my untrained eye, anyway!).

Ooh, that is cool news. So the shuttle aired correctly. Think that will be a big relief for NASA. A pity i can't and couldn't see it.
