I noticed last nite for the very first time that the cd version of this song is 40 seconds longer than the LP version. The LP version is 4:50 and the cd version is 5:30.
I always wondered why the ending on the lp was far from beautiful (i have had this record since January 1990, yes I still remember it) but now I found out. It was probably never meant to be to end it that way it did on the record. Weird though.
