Default Los Christianos - Tenerife

Hi everyone.

I'm just after some information if anyone has some. I'm going on hols soon, (36 days, not that i'm counting )

And I was wondering of any of you had been to Los Christianos and could give me some advice as to places to visit, places to eat etc. Any tips / advice appreciated.

Cheers all

I've been to Tenerife before, but we've never stayed in Los Chritianos, we normally stay in Playa de las Americas.

In Los Christianos there is a market, welll there was one the last time I went there, but there are some many things to do in Tenerife that you won't stay in Los Christianos. You can go to Teide and if you like markets there are so many markets to choose from.

If you have a timeshare, be very careful if anyone gives you a scratch card, (you will probably win, I have won three times but we've never stayed long enough to get my prize, I won a camcorder once as well ) tell them you don't want it, its a bit of a scam.

Modern Girl I am a veteran of Los Christianos and Playa de las Americas -

In Los Christianos..............

Head up the hill from the bay you will find a great bar, there is a singer with a guitar, one drunken night I did a pole dance there

Also you could try the Irish Bar at the foot of the hill, satisfaction guaranteed

You could go Go Kart Racing or even visit the animal park both a short drive away, or go by taxi.

In Playa I'd recommended Amandas and Kumaks, ask any driver they'll know where to take you

Have a great time :) , wish I was in your suitcase

love dottie

In Playa, there is a bar called Acapulco, a couple of doors up the road is a fantastic chinese restaurant!!

Also on the front in Playa is a restaurant called "The Rovers R" - they are excellent, The Chateau Briande and Flambes are to die for!!!!

Any 'slow boat' restaurants are superb chinese, if you take the seafront walk one day you will see one about 10 mins walk from los critanos harbour towards playas. If your cab driver dosen't know korrmacks asked to be dropped off at the 'king and I' restaurant (fine thai food) or if that fails get dropped at the bouganville playa and it is just across the road (don't walk down the hill though). Should the cab driver also by unsure of Amandas ask to be dropped at the Tucan bar. Have a lovely time.

Its the first time i've been to Tenerife so i'm really excited. We're staying in the Chipeque (i think thats how you spell it) appartments, apparently they are not too far from the beach.

Nah, I don't drink but most of the time I'm in the pool or playing pool, thats how I met Anthony from blue.

I remember going to Teide, but then I mix up Tenerife with Malta.

Name drop, Bah I don't have to do that, I could do loads more on that score.

My nan always makes sure I get on the right plane, but once I had to fly alone and you get these annoying airhostess who think you can't talk or read or doing anything intellectual 'No honey your the one with the job thats all about looks', that was only last year.
