0-30: Anything geeky brings you out in a rash. A few episodes of Star Trek:TNG will cure you

I'm 48, well I knew I wasn't really a geek, but my dad hates Bill Gates so most of the questions made me cringe

I scored a 44
31-60: You are moderately geeky. Read a few more computer manuals and watch some more Star Trek to boost your score.

Yep, sounds about right!

Most of the questions (apart from the "do you own a book by Bill Gates" one) have absolutely nothing to with Bill Gates.

Anyway, I am a geek, and I need no test to tell that. Then how in the hell do I score only 39?

I know but the name Bill Gates makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, see what parents do to their kids.

I respect Billiam for what he's done. I wouldn't be typing this if it weren't for him. He's still a monopolizing ~~~~~~~ though.

I scored 46. Shame, I wanted higher.

My Dad always says 'In a world without boundaries who needs Gates' I run Linux, on my computer. My dad wants to put either Sisco or Unix on my computer, still getting used to the dual boot, I'm never quick enough to put it on Linux, I let my computer turn itself on

To be honest, i think the whole Unix experience is highly over-rated. There is not a hope in hell of Unix (or any variant of it) ever toppling Windows until we reach a point where the typical Joe Average can get a copy of Linux out of a box, install a CD and have it run first time, practically everytime.

For all it gets knocked, Windows is an excellent system when you cinsider it's complexity and its capabilities.

Just my opinion!
