Default Too Late

Well to tell you upfront

I live in a poor neighborhood. And well, today, everyone in my neighborhood got bags of christmas food and goodies & boxes of prezzies. and well, i just caught a glimpse of these neighborhood kids running up to people's porches and taking their stuff, that neighbors can't afford. they speed off in vehicles. i swear i wish i coulda done something, and for that reason, i must stand in corner, and realize i could of made a difference. like a lot of times in my life, i could have made a difference, but of course i didn't.

i just had to share this, i feel it is awful, what happen, and if i see them again, i think they oughta look out. is that a threat?, no.

Hi RSG - You feel pain at not being able to prevent such acts, but the fact that you care for your neighbours, speaks volumes.

Sometimes for your own safety it isn't always possible to intervene, don't feel guilty.

A Very Merry Christmas to you and all your neighbours, and maybe, just maybe life will change in 2004, always look to the future RSG, never, ever look back in anger.

RSG - this is true, you have to think about yourself & your own family first. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in - it is not always nice and horrible things go happen - if you intervene, what is going to happen to you ?

You showed you care by feeling guilty & posting your thoughts here. Don't do anything hasty.

You're a good person

Remember it's number one that counts - you - take care & enjoy your Xmas :P

Hi RSG

I read you post and understand your feelings. It's a sad world when we feel unable to confront youngsters but unfortunately too many times people have and they have suffered for doing this. I understand your feelings but you were probably safer to do nothing.

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

I have a feeling RSG was younger than the perpetrators. . .if not, then sorry.

Anyway, don't feel guilty about it. Enjoy your Christmas and have a very good 2004.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise RSG was so young. Thanks for letting me know.

RSG don't let this play on your mind. Enjoy your Christmas.
