in march 2004 I will travel to Dallas and Denver (each for 5 days).
I'm sure some of you guys life in one of these towns, so if you have some "advice" for me (e.g. places I must have seen, restaurants to be visited,...) please let me know. Most of the evenings I will be at the local hockey arenas, Thanks Yvonne |

I will travel with a group of hockey fanatics (I'm also a big hockey fan, but Meat will always win The evenings are full with hockeygames and one visit at the Dallas Mavericks. But do you have some advice for the days: e.g.: nice restaurants/bars for lunch, museums, shopping areas KR Yvonne |

I hardly know where to start. We have shopping, dining, museums, everything a girl could want. Also have good clubs, etc. An area I like is called the West End. It has a little bit of everything. Also, we have a nice aquarium, also in/near the West End. I'm not sure if you have transportation, or what part of Dallas you'll be in, but I like to take tourists to Southfork, the ranch from the TV show Dallas. There is a part of town, actually in a suburb of Dallas, that's called Las Colinas. Great stores. What kind of museums are you interested in?
Are you going to a Stars game? I envy you. Although Dallas is my home, I don't live there now. I lived in Germany for 3 years and loved it. Great people. Hope I can help return the favor by touting my home town. PS- You do know that Meat is from Dallas/Ft. Worth, don't you??? :) |

we will see three games of the stars: vs San Jose, Vancouver and St.Louis. After the San Jose game will hopefully be a meet and greet with Marco Sturm (the best German in the NHL at the moment) The visit at the Southfork Ranch is already planned. Are there "historical" museums in Dallas (e.g. egyptian or something like that)? And I bet there is JFK-museum?! Where have you lived in Germany? If you were here with the Army chances are good, that you have lived in Heidelberg (where I live nearby)! Thanks for your infos. Can't wait till march, 15th- be carefull Dallas-the Germans will come soon |

My sister and her family live in Dallas - one time they took me to historical old Fort Worth, where you can drink longnecks and ride a mechanical bull
Maybe some ideas here: http://www.ourcityguide.com/tourism_...as&state=Texas -Kathy |
