To all the UK fans -

Someone posted on OIFC that Meat has been rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment!! Is this true?! Here in the US, we're dying to get the truth - can you foks in the UK help with this?

Rosie, I don't know where you live. You might get a quicker response if you call the news channel themselves to confirm the bad news. I hope it's not true. Meat GET WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just watched the local Brimingham news and there was no mention of it. I've been through all the Sky news channels and no mention. I've checked all the local Birmingham news channels on the internet and no mention. Unless the news is being kept secret I think this may be a hoax as it all started with one guy on the OIFC site saying he'd seen in on the local Birmingham news

I'm beginning to think you are right someone has already posted on there today that the rescheduled manchester gig had been cancelled and the MEN deny this

"Well Just heard an update: Meat is currently in a intensive care unit an Birmingham Hospital, under going major tests may need a operation but uncertain yet the tour may well be cancelled and rescheduled for some time in spring if all is ok but meat’s advisors are advising him to retire from live gig’s permanently for his long term health. ok deep breaths - first think is this person a regular oifc poster

remember there are certain people that get their kicks like this and have been going around posting dodgy stuff for a long time.

Having said that - i think it warrents an official answer and will email oifc urgently asking for confirmation.

If Anne or R. can email the management company that'd be great also anyone who has any contact please use these
