I found a couple of online Canadian newspapers with interviews with Meat this week:
http://www.canoe.ca/JamMusic/sep20_meatloaf-sun.html ML seems a bit down in this one, he says he "wishes the tour were already over" and talks about what a rough summer he had. http://www.canada.com/entertainment/...2-0EAB76123ECB This one has a quote that I love- it's ML describing his performance method: Quote:
Check out the articles, they are both pretty interesting. Sherrie |

Thanks for the links Sherrie.
Both articles were really interesting. You're right ... he did sound a little down in the first one .... he's really been through a lot this year. Vicki |

There's an article on CHSIB and Meat Loaf in the 'Toronto Metro' I'm going to type it out, if I can't find a link, after work.
Cheers! |

Here's a link that allows you download the current issue of the Toronto Metro : http://www.metropoint.com/ The only problem is that once you've downloaded it, you need Adobe Acrobat to read it. Are you talking about the article entitled "Meat Loaf enjoys spice of performing" ? I found it with one of the pictures that I adore (him with the long coat and hat) on page 19. Or was there another article that I missed? Thanks !! Vicki |

Hmmm.....something tells me that the author of the Toronto article never actually saw Fight Club, as he describes Bob Paulsen as "the huggable dude". Sure, he was a blindly dedicated but nice guy, but "huggable dude" isn't a description I'd choose, by any stretch. It makes him sound like a Care Bear, rather than the tremendously intricate character that he played.

I know what you mean about the character description, Sherrie, I can only assume that either the author didn't see it(fight club), or felt he needed to skim over the role for sake of brevity. It was an odd discription of Bob, wasn't it?
