Hot Patootie - 1989 info
So I have confirmation about that mystery Hot Patootie performance on LATW.
It was indeed performed in Tallahassee, FL 1989. Richard O'brien made a guest appearance before "The Rock n Roll Medley" along with the late Mel Lewis. Mel Lewis passed away a year later. It was also Alan Merrill's last show with Meat as it turned out. The recording itself on the disk was recorded in the 1993-1995 area (the exact year is not remembered), to match the rest of the tracks. Which is why it doesn't sound like 1989 Meat. The original 1989 board tape was replicated almost exactly according to Kasim.
