Default WHEN IS THE LAS VEGAS SHOW BEING SHOWN ON BBC?

Does anybody know? And if so will be on BBC 1 or 2 or on the red button?

Thanks in advance

Far too early to know. Meat did say they would be filming it for the BBC, and did refer to people from the BBC having visited Vegas on the last residency .. but whether any filming took place then or not he has not said. If they were planning to film in September, that residency has been cancelled.

Whether the plans have gone ahead or will be going ahead, I would have expected any showing to be closer to the lead in time for the London residency for ideal promotion

Anyone know the reason for the cancellation?

He said it was to get the album finished on time .. it has to be ready by December, and for him was more important than another Vegas run this autumn

Has the release have anything to do with the BAT musical as far as the timing goes?

A release date of April next year would have more to do with the record company and Meat's schedule I would think. He has a last tour in the USA planned, (he posted 44 shows between Dec and August) a residency in London, doubtless a period of weeks set aside before the release date for promoting the album (and who knows what else he might fit in by way of filming as well). Somewhere between December and the release date he might be making a video for all we know.

He has been consistent about March/April for the album release for most of this year. Mastering on 8 December will be tied to the planned date in April.

All these are dates he has given, and he has a pretty consistent record of delivering to the schedules he has told us about. I do not know of any announced dates for the Bat musical, do you?

Nope, Just wondering as it has been posted here that Jim is spending all of his time on the musical so either he is doing little to nothing for Meat's album or maybe some of the songs on Meat's album are tied into the musical.
To me it makes sense as Meat is the face of BAT OUT OF HELL.

As example he has told that some songs Jim wrote, can't be used on this album because it's in the musical. If that's so, there won't be a song from the musical on this record. Somewhere I read that Jim isn't fulltime on this record. It's a process with Jimmy and Steven Rinkoff. Steven will do the hands on stuff and Jim will listen to the results. Then Jim will give some pointers and Steven will input those again in the songs. What I understand, Jim won't be in the studio. And if he is, it's the bare minimum because his fulltime job is the musical.

I think Jim may have most of his contributions long completed and I remember some mention that he might change the odd lyric. I'm just happy that he endorses the result even if Rinkoff handles the actual work. I did read where Paul mentioned "working with" Jim though I seriously doubt it was literally Jim working hands on.

As Desmond Child proved a Steinman song without his unique style is not always best. If Jim does as you think it will at least be his writing, that he contributed by choice, and has passed his listening test.
