hope im posting in the right place.
back in the mid 90s and I was still in school and a band called Oasis were at the height of there fame, Meat Loaf was on GMTV and I think Liam Gallagher was in the news for being his usual arrogant self pretending to be the tough man, the interviewer asked Meat his opinion on him and Meat turned to the camera and said "Liam Gallagher I will punch you in the face" I was laughing my head off and i cant remember much else about it. I know it was a jokey thing but id love to see that interview again but ive searched youtube and i don't believe its on there. I know its a longshot but does anybody have it ? |

if oasis were big, and it was mid 90's (when i was still at school too) its gotta be the welcome to the neighbourhood period.
i dont remember that quote, but i do have an interview recorded on video (somewhere) from gmtv from when eamonn and anthea were on the sofa, and later with lorainne. any of that ring a bell?? (wasn't with mr motivator as his clip was in the video montage) |

Sounds like something he'd have said on a show like The Big Breakfast...Chris Evans presented that and I think he'd have got away with saying it on there rather than GMTV.
Only other show I can think of would be TFI Friday but that was later, that was 1998/1999 |

I'd like to see this as well.
I've been trying to track down a promo clip that he did for Much Music 'I&I' he basically says "I'm Meat Loaf, and I would do anything for love... except..." (announcer says something, he looks to the producer/director) "I'm not gonna eat a rat." |

I remember a small interview on the O-zone which was a music/kids show where meat was asked if there was anyone he'd like to record a song with and he said Oasis. He was prob joking but i got the impression he quite liked them?
