Default The Album Covers: Bat Out Of Hell II Back Into Hell

Ah The return of fantasy art! Richard Corben's will always be my personal preferance. That said Michael Whelan's image doesn't mimic anything, it stands on its own as something really special like the compositions it represents. Some nice blues and a city in ruins beneath. It's heroism is bold, the dude is there for the girl and he has an orb of light something he will use to strike the mammoth of the bat! It conveys so much. I won't say its timeless but it could easily be a future world where good never gives up and bad is still in the ring.
