Default Vegas to San Diego help

Hey Everyone

Hoping some USA folk on here can help. I'm doing a tour of west America in July and I'll be in Vegas until 7 July then (conveniently) off to San Diego early morning of the 7th. Would it be possible to make the Meat Loaf concert there in 7th July in time.

How long is Vegas to SD drive and where in SD is the concert?

Thanks

Chris

Generally, it's about 332 miles from Las Vegas to San Diego; the drive should take a little over 5 hours, but I'd allow extra time for rest stops or delays.

You can get door-to-door distance and directions using MapQuest (for example):

It looks like the concert is at the Harrah's Casino Rincon:

Yes you can make it in easy time. Try to leave early from LV. Traffic can be horrible. It will give you time to rest between the long drive and the concert. If you can book the hotel then do it asap. It's a nice place.

Thanks for that! So it is do-able then.

Is the venue near the sights of San Diego?

Any hotel recommendations?

Chris,
When I looked it up on Google, the casino looks to be about an hour away (northeast) from San Diego.
If you still stay in San Diego, the last time I was there we stayed in the Old Town area and really enjoyed it. In San Diego, you're also really close to Coronado beach which is fab! Tijuana is close too.....found it interesting. Not sure I'd go there after dark though.
Have a great time! I'll be in Vegas in June....hate I'll miss ya!

Thanks. Do you mean the hotel belonging to the venue? Or another one in the area?
