Yes, Paul ROCKS!

He's also a very nice guy. The grandstand was open at the start of soundcheck, so we strolled in. Lo and behold there was Paul talking to the mechandise guy. We had a nice chat. He really seems to appreciate the fans.

Let's see...he said PitP was awful...Randy Flowers is awesome...he and Randy have differnt styles/backgrounds, that compliment each other. Paul has the metal edge, while Randy has a country, blues influence going on. While listening later I could even catch that, Paul's I knew, but you can tell Randy's background also, and he IS awesome.

Paul talked to us until he had to leave for his role in the sound check. We were so astounded to be talking to him, never thought to ask for an autograph or picture with him...duh! He gave us each a personalized guitar pic, we in return gave a MOTS t-shirt.

What a guy! And he does KICK AZZ on stage. To see his guitar work is phenomenal. He does a great job, BOOH is the best I've ever heard, and if you listen closely he even added a little of his own twists to it. Very cool!

What a great story .. thanks T
I can't wait to hear both him and Randy live ! I'm glad to hear he's such a great guy .... I just hope I get a chance to meet him too

Of course I haven't had the privlege yet of meeting Paul, Renee, or Randy yet :) Yes, I know they're all amazing musicians !

But the one thing that really impresses me the most about Meat, Kasim, and the rest of the band is how genuinely (sp?) nice and down to earth they are. Meat truly cares about his fans, which is why I care about him and wish him all the success with CHSIB that he truly deserves

Thank you Fireball !!! And thank you too Kasim (and the entire NLE) for all your hard work and continued support !

Vicki,
You hit it right on the head. Not just fantastic musicians, who give us great music and joy, but these are all genuinely nice folks. Maybe Meat makes that a requirement to join the the band, LOL. None of the petulant, pbnoxious types you hear about elsewhere in the music industry.

I've never met Meat, J has and said he was in person the nicest guy. The few band members I've been lucky to talk to have all been so kind and appreciative of their fans. How refreshing in this day and age.

What a great ensamble of musicians and real people!

Exactly ! Yes, it's so refreshing !!

I've had the honor of meeting Meat twice :) The first time was before the show in Atlantic City in 2001 .... I remember when he walked into the room, I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't even remember my name, let alone talk to him But last year when I met him after one of the shows in Florida, it was just like catching up with an old friend I hadn't seen for awhile And I felt exactly the same way when I talked to Kasim, Patti, Mark, and John Micheli after the shows in Atlantic City ... they all put you at ease, if you know what I mean. I'm so glad to hear you had the same positive experience with Paul :)

I also met Amanda last year, and she definitely takes after her Dad :) She's just as sweet and down to earth as Meat is ... and I wish her all the success in the world too !!
