Default Gardening!!!

I ahve a problem!!

WEEDS!!!!! In paticular thistles, nettles and dandelions.

At the back of my flat is a cobbled victorian courtyard. However between all the cracks there are loads of weeds adn grass growing.

I have tried most of the standard market products and nothing seems to kill them.

Does anyone out there have any suggesations for home remedies that might get rid of them before I adopt plan B

Cheers

PS> Plan B involves a Rambo style bandana, miniature puddles of petrol under each weed and an industrial strength flame thrower. Please help em as I do not feel that I have the right sort of evil cackle required for waving a flamethrower around!!!!!

You could always try pulling them Chris..

Else best time to destroy weeds with a chemical agent is in the autum, when the sapstream are going down instead off up. That way they won't come back next year.....Iff you can wait that long.

Just pave the complete garden... no problems, or put concrete in it... .hahahha... no problems any more.

Or... a huge swimmingpool will also do the trick.

I've designed gardens for some people, and also made them... was very cool to do.

Chris try salt, followed by vinegar - if the weeds are still there 24 hours later I'll eat myself seriously

I'll take one myself Tim honest it does work, I use natural products in my garden as I have 3 cats who I wouldn't want to be ill if they ate anything I'd put down.

Chris this will work believe me! It also keep all the stray cats away from your garden, and the slugs and snails the salt burns them

I will eat my words, the vinegar appears to be working.

Now, any suggestions as to how to detract nutters who like peeing against the back fence when drunk??
