Default Farmer's Insurance commercial

I'm watching the Kansas City Chief's game vs. Baltimore Ravens wildcard football game. An insurance commerical pops on...not paying it much mind, playing a little internet game.... there is a power point picture of Meat Loaf in the guy's presentation. Made me smile for the day!

Our morning show over here sometimes shows the best ads from around the world. One day they showed this Japanese or Korean ad for Burger King and they were playing anything for love. They had a couple eating burgers and wouldn't share. It was hilarious. I would do anything for love, but share my burger!!!!!

I saw that commercial. It was a mundane run of the mill television commercial. Then Meat showed up and it turned into a tour de force, bursting with vibrant energy and compelling me to immediately purchase the product because it would be wrong to bask in the glory of this fabulous commercial without paying for it. If they show it again I shall eagerly await purchasing more. Yay Meat!!

I sense a hint of sarcasm in your post or are you seriously considering becoming a farmer and taking out farmers' insurance after that commercial?

Presumably Meat was fairly compensated for use of his likeness (as in it was not bootlegged because I would not watch such a commercial) so yes that implies that he endorses this product and as his fan that would influence my decision to view the product favorably.

I hear that AndyK has been campaigning for years to get Meat advertising for Mr Kipling.

I just saw the commercial on TV!. I will admit it did get to me. wasn't paying that much attention to the TV, however I heard them say meat loaf so I looked up. Of course it was a pic of the food. Then I heard meat loaf again, looked up and there he was staring @ me! I started cracking up and my mother was wondering what was so funny. Yes, simple things like this ad can make my day!

Noooo. The less cake advertising there is, the less cake sells, which means there's more for me

This is exactly what i am talking about. The sudden rush of hearing the name Meat Loaf on television, then to realize that this just further cements his status as a legendary worldwide icon. He illuminated the commercial without even being physically present. A picture of Meat had more presence in the commercial than any of the live actors. It made my day too.

How about that blackboard to projector screen flip mechanism though? "Flipping" awesome if you ask me. Better not stand too close if someone else is holding the remote.
