eveing with meat loaf

who thinks there should be a one of show an avening with meat loaf , i think it would go down great in the uk , because meat has fans from all ages , & from all over the world , the t.v ratings would rocket in the u.k & thats a fact so im emailing i.t.v. do you fans think im right or wrong

Excellent idea, not only is Meat a great singer but also very funny( and mad, no offence Meat), and this would make a great show. So come on ITV get off your backsides and onto the phone and get a brilliant entertainer on your channel, ratings will go through the roof.

Sounds great, if the Graham Norton performance and the TOTPS shows are anything to go by then bring it on! Would be a fantastic evening and very entertaining.

Oh I hope this idea is taken up by someone in telly land. We see some of these shows out here - most recently the Donny Osmond one. Would be great to have a Meal Loaf one.

Absolutely- a Meat Loaf variety show. A little comedy, some special guests and a whole lotta rockin! Sounds like a perfect recipe.

It would be superb .. very like Storytellers in fact .. although it would be great to have some fans in the celebrity dotted audience rather than the usual also-ran-soapers

yes..it sounds like a wonderful idea...however...i have two questions...not trying to be a thorn in anyone's side here...has Meat indicated that he would want to do a variety special and would he have the time right now?

I'm sure the answer to both of those is no Tink .. although the format of An Evening With .. is very similar to Storytellers, except the audience is normally one of celebrities who ask the questions, and the format for the BeeGees version was mainly singing, with fewer questions.

No he wouldn't have time right now I'm sure, but I guess if he were invited and if he accepted, the time frame would probably be a longish one.

And right how I can see an airplane pulling one of those lettered signs .. multi-coloured letters .. wish it was Meat Loaf .. Couldn't Have Said It Better .. lol

This would be great compulsive viewing - Meat has had such a varied life, brought forth so many musical masterpeices, I don't think he needs guests he could easily fill the air time himself, but we would all have to be members of the audience thats for sure

I wouldn't want to miss it

Sounds good to me, it would certainly liven up the Christmas TV viewing. I'm getting excited about it already and it's only a dream at the moment. We don't know how Meat feels about it or even if he has the time! But it would be good tho!

I didn't know about the TOTP2 special does anyone know when it is to be screened?

Definately sounds like a good idea. Seeing as Storytellers was amazing, I am sure similar with celebs would be great, we all know Meat wouldn't pull any punches with the celebs either
