Default 75. Love You Out Loud

This is the START OUT OF HELL & ARRIVE TO HEAVEN topic.
Let's Go to Rock 'n' Roll!!!!!!

Love You Out Loud (4)

I don't like this song! It's very very very very very simple! The lyrics are average, the melody seems like a Bon Jovi song on Crush!
When I was reading the song's title I hoped it would be a second 'For Crying Out Loud'. And it has wouldn't been that! The story has got only one message for you: he loves somebody and he doesn't wanna lose her. It's hackneyed. And I miss the music. You find here guitars and drums and sometimes a piano and lot of distortions of computer...
Well, I think this is one of the worst Meat song... and not only on this album!

My score: 4

Average: 8.40 (252/30)

I think this song is about having an affair.

I like to listen to this song while I am driving my car for some reason. Even think it would make a good single. But not one of my favorites of the album.

So, here is the proof I can rate songs of the new album below 9

7,5/10

Being a metal head myself, and this undoubtedly being the hardest song on the album -- its easy to say this is one of my favorites on the album, if not the favorite.

Lyrically it's clearly about having an afair, and the part "Wish I could love you out loud / But I'll just keep it to myself" really sounds like something I would say :-) (not that I'm having an afair or something, but that would be *so* me to say that)
The vocal effect on the "It's 7.00am" verse is clever too ("and I just wanna call you")

Let's give it a 8.5/10...

This is also one of my favorites on CHSIB, definately in the top 4. I think it's very sexy, and the music is much more rocking that an lot of the album. I also love to play this really loud when I am alone in the car. Good song!

My rating: 8/10

It's quite bland. Like background music.

I like this one quite a bit, but it could have done without the vocal effect on the "it's 7am ..." part. A bit of a dark lyric but I'll give it 7.5/10

But I don't like the song. The style isn't Meat. The intro is good, but the music is bad, and the lyrics also.

My score: 4

Not one of my favourites. I don't dislike it but I think it is an average song and would only give it 6 out of 10

I think there is something wrong with my CD. Every time I get to this particular song, it just seems to play again and again and doesn't want to go to the next one! Ever have an album like that??

I dearly LOVE this song and not a day goes by that I don't play it! I love its sexy and clever lyrics. I love to listen to the unusual harmonies, and the background singers playing off of Meat's voice! I love to listen to it build and build until it gets to the end...

If it weren't for Testify, this one WOULD be my favorite song on the album!!

Definitely a 10/10 for me!

I have to agree with you MB! i love this song!!!!!!!!!

i put it on when im feeling down, its such an emotional song, so loving and it contains such a strength of feeling, that it just leaves me bouncing around the walls with happiness!

his vioce just soars over the background music! this song just flows with power and has no weak pionts! IMHO it is one of Meat Loafs best songs ever! i would have give it 11/10

Sometimes it's the simple things that are best .. compexity doesn't guarantee a thing or s song is good. Imagine for eg is a simple melody, simple words, yet to many is beautiful in its simplicity.

I adore Love You Out Loud .. there's something about the melody which really reinforces the feeling of being torn that comes from the lyrics ..
