FRIDAY 13TH....

So has anyone had any really bad luck today???

I personally haven't, but my sister has - she woke up in agony and has been rushed into hospital with a blocked gall bladder, and is having surgery tomorrow!!!

What about you lot - you all ok???

Friday the 13th is quite lucky for me as I was born on a Friday 13th. That could explain a lot!!!!!

I broke the table (read about it on sins agony page) hehe

I have just managed to get stuck outside the study, so i couldn't get to the computer. the ironin board fell over and landed on the table next to it with my seat stopping it from movin!! but with my thin arms i managed to get my hand thru and remove it before i did myself mental damage by not being able to get to the computer.

Heat,

I had my gall bladder removed 5 years ago, and I tell you, after the incredible pain of a gall bladder attack you are glad to give it up! I was up and back to normal within a day and a half, it's not too bad of an operation. I wish her the best of luck!

Oh, and ML says in his bio that he had his removed as a teen- now she'll have something in common with Meat!

Update on my sister - not good news, i'm afraid

Due to massive infection, she can't be operated on yet as the hosp have said if they try to remove gall bladder then there is a chance that cause the infection is so bad, it may spread to her major organs, heart, lungs, liver, spleen. So they have her drugged up on morphine and it's jus a waiting game now. But she's very poorly

Need all your thoughts and prayers on this one, gang :)

Thanks for all the good wishes, most appreciated, i can tell ya.

My sis is still quite ill, she's on a morphine drip and an antibiotic drip too, as well as a fluid one. They still cant operate, due to the infection, but they are hoping it will have gone down enough by Monday to do it then. The consultant came around and said that her gallstone is roughly about the size of an egg, which is why she's in so much pain. Also with it blocking the bile ducts, thats causing her pain too. I haven't actually been able to speak to her, but i've sent all your best wishes in with my mum, who's up in Lancashire with her.
