according to facebook Meat Loaf is hosting "Classic Rock Nights" on VH1 all week this week.

It's gonna start tonight (aug 3) at 7pm (whatever time) with Meat performing a "new song" from his latest album.

Yes, he was on from 7pm - Midnight EST.

I only caught part of it, but just as I turned it on, they played Song Of Madness
And I heard Meat tell a quick little story about how Axl Rose likes to listen
to 2 out of 3 Ain't Bad before doing a concert

There was a problem with the Official website last night, but it's up and running now.

Did Meat and the band perform Song of Madness or was it just a recording ? Did anyone record the show?

well, he wouldnt necessarily have to sing live at the studio. They could just as well use some of the latest soundboard recordings.

Actually according to the website :
Tonight Meat Loaf will play a new song off his new album Hang Cool Teddy Bear
So no it wasn't a live performance ... it was the track from the CD

Meh its just him talking about Eddie and how they spelled his name wrong on the sheet with no capital letters for his name. Then he plays hot patootie followed by an odd edited version Kiss (Different from the Studio/Storytellers versions)

Ill upload it to the tube shortly

Oh ok Maybe that was the version of Kiss from Storytellers
I just tuned in a few minutes ago .. Meat was saying that he was filling in for Eddie but didn't want to say what he was probably doing right now
