Amazon.de has it available to pre order for August, 2. Strange thing is this is supposed to be a UK import while both, amazon.co.uk and play.com have it listed for a september-release...

Just watched Burning Bright.

Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. I expected some guilty-pleasure-monster-flick-b-movie, when it turned out to be more of a drama than a horror film. It was more about the relationship between the girl and her autistic brother than about the tiger. Though I think it was a good choice to use a real tiger instead of CGI, made the whole threat more real.
Good movie, they couldve done a lot worse!

The Loaf just got one scene (the opening) as the circus guy who sold the tiger to the stepfather. Not a particularly memorable performance, though nothing bad either. But then again theres only so much you can do in about 60 secs screentime.

Thanks for the review I got the DVD the other day, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

For being forth billed and having less then a minute of screentime is disappointing.

If youve seen the trailer you've actually seen most of his performance. And as the 90% of the screentime goes to the girl and her brother, pretty much the rest of the actors have just cameos.

I might have missed it, but I didnt see the Loaf listed in the opening credits.
