Hi, friends. My family just received this week's copy of People Magazine (June 16th with Demi Moore on the cover). And lo and behold, in a special "Father's Day" article, there's this wonderful photo of Meat and Amanda!!! (I would post it here, but I KNOW there are all sorts of copyright restrictions with such a large scale magazine just hitting the stands, and I don't want to get this forum into any kind of trouble.)

There is a small, very sweetly written paragraph below the picture (it IS for Father's Day, after all!

Not much new in it, BUT it does contain one bit of real news we have been waiting for--the name of Amanda's new HBO series coming this autumn, I would think. It's called "Carnivale." Can't wait to see her in it!

Go find a copy of the magazine, if you can. It is a lovely portrait of the two of them!!

more!! More!! MORE!!

The US promotion is just about to begin!!!

I am not sure what the distribution area for People Magazine is.

Thanks again David and Jules! What a great picture! On my computer screen, the scan cuts off where (I would guess) Meat says "I get much more emotional..." Anyone care to fill me in on the remainder of that quote? What a good daddy!

Thanks Sherrie, sorry about the scan being cut off but the rest of the quote says "I get much more emotional about her stuff than about mine", he says. That's the end of the caption. Glad you enjoyed it.

It is always a good idea for us to thank media outlets for including
Meat Loaf with the coverage they provide their audience. For example,
many of us could write to People and thank them for publishing a picture
of Meat Loaf in the Father's Day issue. Magazine publishers really do
pay attention to what features get feedback from the viewership.
Publishers like to know what they are doing is being paid attention to.
Go and let them know that you care and are paying attention and will
purchase more of their product if they feature more Meat Loaf!
