Kati Mac and Doreen Chanter

Why? Why did Meat tour with these two in the 80's? Were they the best he could get or were they forced on him by his record label? I know Meat wasn't at the height of his popularity but he must have been able to do better than Doreen Chanter!

Well they have something obviously to be part of the Neverland Express, and to have worked with other artists too, Kati Mac was not that bad to be honest.

I thought the Goffs were a big improvement on Mac and Chanter, and not just in the looks department either!

They weren't bad, but Meat's a powerful performer, so they paled in comparison. I didn't think the Goffs were any better. Patti is the only woman who can hold her own with Meat. Karla was a good actress, but I never really cared much for her voice.

I thought Aspen was great, just Meat was too old for it to work by that point. You really think the Goffs were no better than Doreen Chanter?

I guess better than Doreen, but I never cared for the Goffs' vocals. Aspen is a good singer, but not for Meat's show. She's right where she belongs now- singing in musicals. You have to have a quick wit to perform with Meat. I think Patti and Karla were the only ones who could keep up with him.
