Default Name that song please :-)

I have just heard a Meat Loaf song I´ve never heard before, but it sounds like it´s not a long time ago since it was done.

Can anyone tell me what that song is called and what cd it´s on?

He sings something like this:

"If I crash on the show, I´d be yours"

"you are the ultimative confession here at heaven´s gate"

Thanks!

Sarah

Thank you! What a shame that you can´t buy that single on iTunes. You can buy a lot of the newer singles, but not that one

That song is another good example for Meat Loaf's ability to make the most of such material. From my point of view, the original song is not very exciting but it gains its power from the way Meat performs it.

To me both, DW and Unsaid, are better than half the stuff that ended up on the album...

You can download Meat's DW version, and also the writer's demo from the homepage of the songwriter. (legally). Just search the forums, it's been discussed a few times.

Agreed. Its sad stuff this is. R.P.M and Lost Love are in the same boat. R.P.M would've been a better addition to BBIS than A Man and A Woman and Lost Love could've easily dug out the place where Never can be too sure about the girl is (that song is a B side song IMO not Lost Love). As for Take a Number, I wouldnt trade and BA song for it, BA is just a perfect album (best ever recorded).

Better Set for CHSIB:
Couldn't Have Said It Better
Did I Say That?
Unsaid
Love You Out Loud
Man Of Steel
Testify
Decedent Wish
Tear Me Down
Because Of You
Do It!
Forever Young
Mercury Blues

Replace "Why Isn't That Enough?" and "You Right I Was Wrong" With thoese IMO. Leave these for the rare stuff.

Played this through on a CDR and it plays like a dream.

Or put them all on the CD. The album only ran about 60 minutes anyway, so there was plenty of room.

I think RPM eventually became BBIS. There are plenty of similarities.
