Default Ross's Pain In The Back

** Edit: Discussion split and moved from here **

Great pics Deb.... I know that when I go to another concert, I have to be at the front (well try to anyhow) becuase it so much better than being at the back.... Mainly becuase of the view you get .... Dublin was my first standing gig, that nearly killed me (mi bloody back!!!! Ouch!) but I'd go through pain to see Meat again.... and again...... and again......

Oh and I love Meats trousers and shirt (like the pattern he has on it lol) , I know sounds daft, but not as bad as being fascinated with those buttons lol... (refere to the germany gig)

I've had back problems for over a year now... Long story but to cut short, I went to the Doctor and he said... "Oh you've got bad siatica", took a blood test and that was it!

Results were fine, and said, just rest....

Its okay some days then others, especially when picking heavy things up (sometimes) it kills... Also when you've been standing for a VERY long time.

Hey Ho! It'll get better sometime.... I hope!!

Could be that - I'm no doctor but he might just be getting a call from me soon

PS> It won't be stopping me anyhow at London's gig

Sciatica is pain which begins from the end of the spinal cord and it travels down the leg. It usually occurs in old people and pregnant women, now your not very old, so that leaves one other option

Perhaps you've developed this condition by sitting on your arse too much

What I can say is, it started last June, when I was doing landscaping my grans garden big time, and my cousin was helping, and I was carrying in all the heavy huge bag loads of gravel, bark, compost etc.. and she was meant to give me a hand, as we have to go up steps to get tp the garden, but she didn;t and I suffered the next day. Then going back to school and some people said it could also of been affected by the way I used to hold by bag on my back... I don't know! Plus I have to say, I didn't rest when I began to get it, I seemed to continue thinking it wasn't there - perhaps I was a bit stupid and should have given it a day or two to recover before lifting anymore heavy objects.....

PS: PE didn't help either (didn't like sports at school)

And they say hard work never hurt anyone I don't think they had just one day of labour in mind when they wrote that.

Ooooo...we could have a game of Blankety Blank I haven't played that in ages.

Blankety Blank Question: "Recently Ross was bent over gardening, he's in so much pain now, it hurts when he _______________?"

Funnily enough I'm signed off work at the moment because I have sciatica and it got a lot worse recently. Next Saturday will be agony (especially if I somehow don't manage to get to the barrier) but it'll be so worth it.

Ross - have you not been referred to Physio or anything to sort it out?
