Default Tickets For Sold-Out Concerts

Dunno if this will help anyone, but i've been told that there is a concert ticket site that can get you front row tickets to apparently sold out gigs. It's called www.getmetickets.net

But be warned - very very expensive!!!!

I know you'd expect to pay a little over the odds, but yesterday they were selling front row tickets to Meat in Sheffield at £285!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it all just comes down to what you can afford and how much you want it!!!!!

Just thought i'd let you guys know :P

That would explain why the first 3 rows at Manchester were sold out 30 seconds after the phone lines opened.

Isn't that illegal? Above anything else, it's very very #@&%@^*

I would not do business with a company like that

that is so annoying when companies like that get all the good tickets almost automatically, there should really be something in place to stop that as it is so frustrating, especially as they make soooo much money out of it

I would have thought that possibly is illegal yes. And if not, the arena owners would not approve, as you risk having a load of empty rows if the seats aren't bought up. I have front row tickets for Newcastle but am so nervous about a ~~~~-up that I think I'm gonna have to check up and confirm the bookings!

Unfortunitley it is legal as im sure anyone who couldn't get a Glastonbury Festival ticket in the 24 hours it sold out, will tell you that this is the reason why the festival that took 10 weeks to sell out last year, sold out in under 24 hours this year.

This place can hold 150.000 people but many people including agencies such as the one mentioned bought the tickets in bulk to sell on for profit.

There was a guy on ebay a few weeks ago with 70 tickets and was selling them for up to £400 (they only cost £110).

It is the genuine music fans that lose out to people after making money.

Thank you for this link, Heat.
Think it's a disgrace that people like this should make money with a thing like this. That is why I never want more then I payed for a ticket I have left.
But on the other hand, I hope I can always get good seats by myself, if I can't I WOULD pay the money. So, hope I will never need this, just incase I do, thank you.

I think the whole thing stinks myself, ticket agencies should be able to buy large amounts of tickets just to make a large profit at the fans expense.
Some body mentioned Ebay, there are currently 8 sets of tickets on there for differant venues the most expensive being front row at wembley.
I don't know if this helps anybody who hasn't got tickets yet, but it might be cheaper than going through an agent.

I think this situation stinks - it shouldn't be allowed - even though I had ordered and booked my tickets before the official box office date - I was still unable to be any nearer than the 6th row at Wembley
