It occurs to me that it's ironic that Arista is famous for the ammount of compilation albums they squeezed off the three albums Meat recorded for them, but they couldn't even be bothered to include stuff that is so far unavailable on CD. Also, there seems to be worryingly few Arista compilations about lately |

True. But then the Meat Loaf compilations have been done to death over the years haven't they? How many more CDs containing the same songs in a different order do we really need?

However, my first Meat Loaf cassette (God, that makes me feel old Whatever. The point being in this case that nobody asked for 20 years if there were too many compilations bandied about with material from the same three albums. Then, just as Bat III comes out and you would expect the record companies to UP production of ML releases, they disapear |
