Default I can confirm meat is on TOTP

Well done Meat!! You made it onto TOTP!!! Top of The Pops features Meat Loaf singing Couldn't Have Said it Better this Friday night, 7.30 BBC1, it is repeated a couple of days later - need to check that one!
I can confirm this as BBC Ceefax have a page for TOTP where they put this weeks guests on and what song they are performing. Robbie Williams is also performing and I think Blur as well. Meat will show them all how!!!!

may i take this opportunity to second your congratulations to Meat, this is well deserved and proves that artists with talent can still make it into the charts. TOTP is repeated, either in the late hours of saturday night or the early hours of sunday morning, can't remember which. Meat will put the rest of the bill to shame with his inevitable stunning display!!!

Default the single will not go any higher on the charts

The record co choose to put out only 6,600 copies, do not know why, do not understand it , I am very upset at them. it sold over 4200 of 6600. they say they only wanted to sell albums. Everyone should send a thank you letter to the producer of totp. he likes me and did a big favor. He loved the preformance we did.

Thanks
Meat

Over two thirds of the total stock sold.
Man,that is fantastic news .Especially because there were a LOT of shops that didn't have it in stock.
Thank you to the producer of TOTP.It's so good to know that there are people high placed in the music industry who have good taste .
Well done Meat.
Carol and I are over the moon for you.

In my honest opinion, in a society of todays rather bad music with continus bad novelty singles (eg the Cheeky Girls) i believe it is the album charts that really matter. I believe this album will be up there - easily in the top 5.

Default Thanks

Thanks Meat for that clarification about the UK situation. I'll email TOTP and thank them. They had a (mostly) nice blurb about you at their site. We in NZ get TOTP too so I'll look forward to seeing you on it here.

Is there anything else we can do for you to help the situation in the UK or elsewhere? We are happy to do anything in our power to help.

For anyone else reading this, TOTP has a feedback page at http://www.bbc.co.uk/feedback/, for you to give your thank yous.

"the talented Mr. Loaf"- sounds like a racehorse or racing greyhound name!
