Default Where's this track from?

I hav a Meat Loaf CD entitled 'The Collection' and Meat doing a cover of Stand By Me. Where is it from?

If memory serves me correct, this was from one of the very first AIDS benefit albums, but then again I could be wrong. Anyway, it is an awesome track!

Meat Loaf did sing "Stand By Me" with Boy
George at the Aids Benefit show , but the
version on "The Collection" was recorded
in 1974 while Meat Loaf was recording
his track from "Rocky Horror". Richard
Hartley (who was part of the making of the
rocky soundtrack) wanted Meat to record 2
extra pre rocky tracks which would be released as a single ; "Stand By Me" and
"Clap Your Hands". For some strange reason,
they never got released until 1984 , on
various 45' singles from "Bad Attitude".and
thats we're "Stand By Me" came from.
