Well, we see something on TV or read something in a magazine and we discuss it. Sometimes we speculate about something or jump conclusions because we don't know why a particular choice or statement was made. You can't avoid that, it happens on any discussion board.

Maybe someone says something stupid sometimes (communication can be difficult at times) but I'm sure we can clarify and settle that in a civilized way instead of adding fuel to the fire.

I sometimes have the feeling that you regard us as foes. We wouldn't bother to register on a Meat Loaf fan forum and exchange our opinions here if we didn't like you and weren't interested in what you do.

It probably just looks like the negative outweighs the positive because you got sick this summer.

Maybe after this year's shows, it will flip? Everything seems to be in place for that to happen.

Got my fingers crossed for you Meat :) ps Have an awesome time at the Vegas show tomorrow!

All of this most likely wouldn't have happened, if people would actually re-read what they are about to post before clicking the "Submit" button. That particular post was offensive and could have been worded much better.

Enough of this, continue with the Lopez show please.

Meat's vocals got stronger as the sound seemed to fill my living room. And I note the spoken part had much more patience/timeliness probably due to several live performances to hone in on his delivery of it. CC gave him the thumbs up at the end of the song. Lopez was able to give Meat some talk time. There was a little dance going on at the end of the show. Personally, I haven't grown tired of Los Angeloser. I liked this performance very much!

This thread is more entertaining than George Lopez himself

lol as for the Lopez show itself, It was sorta disappointing on how funny it actually was....

But the band is indeed the best since early 1993 as stated earlier in the thread. Just kinda wish we knew what the seventh HCTB album song was that meat and the band has arranged...

We already know Like a Rose and If I Cant Have You are arranged.
And Peace on Earth, outside, Angeloser, and Madness are already in the set mainstay.

What's the seventh HCTB song?

This might seem obvious, but is the Lopez show catered more towards the hispanics, with him being hispanic? Just wondering how well Meat Loaf is appreciated by hispanics, let alone HCTB or Los Angeloser

Then so be it. about 15 of the songs we didn't do on this record we are going to record next year. It is real easy for people to write oh he should have done this or that. They are not dealing with the TV shows. We were going to do" living on the outside " The best we could do was a 3 :49 edit the TV show said no. too long. So I do the best I can . I got warmed up to sing and then they made me wait an extra hour and the studio was freezing cold. What does me being 62 have to do with anything . Oh, go act my age !! I did not like that.

Thumbs up Lopez Tonight

I've listened to the Lopez performance several times now and I think it was f'n awesome. I love the new arrangement of LA - the percussion intro just makes a great song even better.

I loved this version - a considerable improvement on your QVC performance.
My daughter & I cannot wait to see this live when you venture over to the UK
