If one of the German shows would be added, it would have the benefit of the following great songs being on offer too:

1.RnR Dreams (in an over-the-top version with neverending guitars and vocals as the climax...)
2.Forever Young (with the fantastic Meat and Patti vocal duell)
3.We Are Family (did you know this is a rock song?)

Outrageous Michael (but too much is never enough Meat)

If we got an American show we would get even more additions:
1. Tear Me Down
2. Love You Out Loud
3. Livin' In The USA

Then ... after we get saturated with this tour ... we should get the ultimate archive ... STORYTELLERS TOUR tapes ... I am in wishful dreaming mode now!

ROCK ON GOOD TIMES!!!

And then while we're all in dreamland, how about some of the tours from eons ago as well?

I still have vivid memories of hearing Meat and the band perform Addicted To Love during a soundcheck in Newcastle many many years ago, I'd love to get a sound board recording of that one day!

What a silly bl**dy statement, of course it's fair. If Meat isn't going to widely distribute the tapes, CD's or whatever then why not let the members of the OIFC get first pickings? What do they pay their membership fee for? I'm not a member and have no real desire to become one; but if I was, then I'd be pretty pissed off if I wasn't near the front of the queue and they ran out by the time it came to me.

But it's still not fair. Why can't everyone get them? Why do a certain
few have to get them? But, in general, you are right. You would be
frustrated, but I can guarantee that they will CONSTANTLY be at the
front of the line, even though the overwhelmingly passionate fans,
who may not have joined the club or are simply unable to, are left
waiting in the cold. In my view, that's not fair.

Yes that maybe true but it's amazing how when something is on offer how many "LURKERS" come out of the woodwork and ask for a copy, without any inclination to share what they've got with a few other people. I ask you, if you WERE a member of say The Jim Steinman Fan Club and paid $20 a year for the privilege and something came out, wouldn't you want first pickings? You'd spit the dummy bigtime if your neighbour who isn't a member got whatever it was before you.

Hey, I've been in that fanclub for two years, and I never lurked in
out of nowhere, asking for dvds. I asked her in private - not like half
of them who openly snapped their fingers. I wish Meat Loaf had
someone like Jacqueline Dillon. Jim should consider himself blessed
by the very gods above - or wherever - that he has her, because
none of Meat's lot even come remotely close to her. She is generous,
she doesn't judge, she doesn't force people to pay, she would do
anything for any of the fans. These people expect you to sign
memberships, pay with cards, and instead of - when the big day
comes - allowing you to stand in front so you can meet the big guy
first, they will shove you to the ground and steal the spotlight.
Jacqueline would never do that, she would let us all through to see
Jim, and god bless her. No, really, god bless her lucky stars. [/b]

And how do I know they would shove me out of the way? Because it has been my experience. In Melbourne, at the sign-meet, several fans (apparently from the fanclub, when me and my mother overheard them speaking) rudely pushed in front of us and didn't even bother to consider that we'd been waiting in that cue for three hours. I hope ALL of the fans aren't like this, but it has given me a disrespect for MLOIFC members.

Gosh Ryan .. if a few (apparent) fans in Melbourne behaved like that it's a sure bet that we're all like that! Hey .. we probably all have corks dangling from our hats too!

Seriously, if Meat is apparently considering one option might be to knock them out through eBay, it sounds as if he's concerned that everyone gets the opportunity don't you think? We'll have to get him a three wheeled van next

Sarcasm is sweeter than honesty. Love is lust in disguise. Sweet words, very sarcastic. This has been my experience. I just wish one of his fans were like Jacqueline Dillon. Maybe you are? No. You are a bit, but everything of yours I read annoys me somehow. And Jacqueline does NOT torment me with animated Meat Loafs. Still, if you're interested in that three-wheeled van, give it to MLOIFC. I'm sure they'll have a rockin' great time. REAL fans don't push in each other's way!! People like that DESERVE to get a three-wheeled van, so they can crash and learn their lessons. As for Meat Loaf, he's a saint. I never said anything bad about him and I actually love him to bits.

Lordy Ryan, you blow hot and cold on me. Last week I was Meat's Jacqueline, today I'm your tormentor. I'd hoped the would tell you I was joking :) But I think it's a bit harsh to disrespect OIFC members based on the behaviour of a few you met up with once.

Pushing and shoving people out of the way is imo something decent people don't do, whether they be fans or not, and those I've met in the US have been with few exceptions friendly, caring and sharing people.

Still, I've never said anything bad about Meat and I love him to bits too, so we have that in common :)

You are Jacqueline, but I thought you were being cruel and sarcastic regarding my experiences. I took it a little personally and I started to blow ice. Apologies. I suppose not all of the fans are like this, because there are some fabulous people on this board, but it has been my experience and I shouldn't just judge from this, and also, I hope it never happens again

Aaah .. friends again :) And I hope that doesn't ever happen again either Ryan. I was actually knocked flat to the ground by someone at the Eddie Izzard concert I went to recently .. but put that down to the bloke being a clod rather than an Eddie fan :)

IS CarylB Jacqueline Dillon or NOT? and if she is then why is she called CarylB but if she isn't then that means Meat Loaf still doesn't have someone like Jacqueline Dillon! And I think it's only fair that you should ask Jacqueline first if she doesn't mind someone being her!

Well I'm confused

That's horrible Caryl

The husband of a friend of mine had a similar experience when we went to see David Copperfield in Atlantic City.

The poor man uses a wheelchair. During the show, we sat in a booth (remember .. the ones at Caesars ), but after the show, he had to get back in the wheel chair. It was really crowded, and it took him a few minutes to get situated. Before he could even move, some woman came out of no where, practically pushed him out of the way, and cursed at him for being in her way Some people can be so rude !

Yes, there are some ghastly people on this planet. I won't even tell you of my many experiences. Some are so insane and over-the-top you wouldn't believe me. And as for Pudding, Caryl is not Jacqueline, but you can say she is of equal rank in the Meat Loaf world. Where Jacqueline has the colorful vocabulary, Caryl has the colorful cartoons and exciting webpage (one that moves like a real movie). I guess they are both good and I don't think Jacqueline would mind if someone paid her a compliment.
