Default ITV

About a 2 minute segment was also shown on ITV London news both at tea-time and later (11.30pm ish). There were several clips of Meat talking, a brief interview with Patti and CHSIB was played almost throughout it!

Now THAT's promotion!

Caryl,

The "Certificates for Campaigners" are very cool, I got mine by email yesterday PM. Check them out everyone- they are suitable for framing to remember our push for Meat when he needed us.

Shame no-one sent the news about Meat being on Capitol Gold to any of the lists .. Still if they've had him on .. worth trying to get CHSIB played on their shows?

List on ROL Help Meat page soon,

I was palying the album continuously in my shop yesterday and managed to convince around 15 people to nip down the road and buy a copy.

Every Little Helps. (although the words are going round in my head now after 13 hours of listening!!!!)

A thought .. we could put A4 picture posters in pubs/clubs/offices and noticeboards/and how about in our cars?

I keep thinking of the thousands of people who will stream into Meat's concerts here in November, but who because they don't come to internet sites and don't hear it on the radio .. grrrrr .. WOULD buy it now, but won't if they don't know about it

CHSIB not listed in BBC Official top 40 albums nor singles but is still No 1 Rock single ..

Not surprising it's slipped from the top 40 singles IF THERE AREN'T MANY CDs IN THE SHOPS AND IT ISN'T GIVEN AIRPLAY!!!!!

Still not on any of the 3 playlists ..

Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/top40/albums.shtml, check the playlists and use message board or contact to let them know your feelings!

Heartened by Meatloafisgod's success story with his local paper, I've written to the Sheffield Star, who it seems are co-sponsors of Meat's concerts at Hallam Arena in Shefflied :)

How about we all write to local papers, particularly those in locations where Meat's appearing in November?

Here's an index of on-line listings of newspapers:
http://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/pa...ilyindex.shtml

Can we cover the key ones between us or are there some areas where he'll be appearing where we don't have a campaigner?

I've emailed editors/newsdesks of 50 local papers where their catchment area is within travelling distance of a concert venue. Because this campaign IS a story imo .. of real music and real people inspired by a rock legend

There's also letters pages .. anything which people might see and want to go out and buy the album seems to be useful .. but they are best sent by people in the area ..
so could people write on-line or in the post to their local papers letters columns?

As Chris says . every little helps!! .. ribbet ribbet :)
