I hired a bus to drive around London we will be playing live on the top of an open bus. I'm trying to get arested for promotion, this is all beING done without the record co help. we have got neswpapers and tv called ttelling them coming to the front of the store playing live , The virgin store does not know, REPEAT DOES NOT KNOW THIS IS HAPPENING, DONOT CALL VIRGIN , REPEAT DO NOT CALL THEM, WE WILL BE IN FRONT ABOUT 5:30 PM. Dang, hearing something like this the photographer in me thinks -- "Where's my super speedy jet plane to London??" :) That sounds like a perfect PR opportunity, and i for one would have LOVED to capture it to help get the 'word out there.' (I have a few places i submit to and theyre global)

Now to me, it DOES sound like a great way for a little more publicity then the 'usual' Hope it all goes perfectly and without a hitch and that the photogs arent taking a cat nap and also arent those rude rowdy pushing kind (which, I'm of course not one! :) )!! Have fun all!!

Just make sure they really arrest ya. Don't give in! The ebatles wanted to get arrested at the end of the rooftop gig to end the Let It Be film but it never happened: You can now right their wrong. :D

Oh - the album is in need of some huge publicity in Australia. Come do it in Australia as well :D Come do it in Brisbane (Queen street Mall has a stage right outside of HMV you can use...) :D

Why is it all the cool things happen in London? This reminds me of when the Beatles played on the roof of Abbey Road studios. Wish I could be there to witness it, but that won't happen.

Well, I added a blurb at my site about the signing and 'surprise' (its a little late, but i do get tons of hits, so any bit helps hopefully!) -- but now ive got to be off to work! Good luck and also i hope everyone has a great time!!

Thinking about this I've had "Get Back" running through my head all morning!

For those of you in the UK, please post anything you hear in the media about this. (Firsthand accounts most welcomed as well!) I'm here in Florida trying to figure out what time (here) this is happening, and I think its 1:30 PM- right at my lunch break! I'll pop back in here then and look for news.
